ScanMed, LLC Terms and Conditions For Customers
Sales Terms:
All sales are final. Payment is NET 15 days from date of invoice unless otherwise specified. If payment is not received by the 25th day, a direct telephone inquiry will be made regarding the status of your account. In the event payment is not received by the 40th day from the date of the invoice, your account will be placed on Credit Hold and no further shipments will be made until your account is current. Collection and legal fees incurred in the process of collecting delinquent accounts will be the responsibility of and be payable by the customer. A one and one half (1½ %) percent per month finance charge applies to all unpaid invoices over 30 days.
Order Cancellation and Custom Products:
An order for any standard product published in our current standard product list may be canceled at any time prior to shipment. Orders for custom products may be canceled within 24 hours following the date that the order was received. After the 24-hour period has expired, orders for all custom products will be built, shipped and invoiced with no exceptions. All requests for cancellations must be received in writing by ScanMed customer service.
Return Goods Policy:
Any product received due to an error by ScanMed will be 100% credited or replaced. Freight charges will be paid by ScanMed. All requests for return authorization must be made through ScanMed Customer Service. No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number, which is obtained by contacting ScanMed, LLC at (402)934-2650. Any product returned without appropriate return authorization will be refused.
Custom products will not be eligible for return except for errors made by ScanMed. Sales of new MRI coils are nonrefundable. All sales are considered final. Defective equipment shall be returned in the original container. If the original container is not available, an approved ScanMed, replacement container may be purchased for $150.00 plus shipping charges. Failure to use either the original container or the approved ScanMed replacement container will void all warranties.
Damages:
If merchandise arrives in a damaged condition due to shipping, claims should be made to the carrier. If products are defective due to manufacturing errors, contact ScanMed Customer Service for immediate repair or replacement.
Warranty:
Each new medical device (MRI coil) manufactured by ScanMed LLC is warranted for 6 months.
Prices:
All orders will be invoiced at the valid prices quoted on ScanMed Quotation document unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
List prices are subject to change without notice.
Shipping and Freight Policy:
All orders will be shipped 2nd Day Air unless otherwise specified. Freight charges will be paid by Buyer, F.O.B. Omaha.
